How to Remember Your Dream
Remembering your dreams will require some effort on your part. But what your dreams can offer and tell you about yourself will be well worth it. Here are some tips in helping your dream recall:1. Before going to bed, keep a clear mind. Tell yourself that "I will remember my dream when I wake up". This is actually a proven and effective way to help dream recall. Having too many thoughts on your mind can distract you from remembering your dream in the morning.
2. Have a regular bedtime and wake up time. Make this your routine. Going to bed and waking up at a regular time every day aids in dream recollection.
3. Avoid alcohol consumption before going to bed. It may hinder you from remembering your dream. Eating fatty foods too close to bedtime can also divert bodily resources away from the brain and hinder dream recollection.
4. Keep a pencil/notebook next to your bed so that it will be within reach as soon as you wake up.
5. Do not get out of bed immediately. Upon waking from a dream, lay still in your bed, keeping your eyes closed and moving as little as possible. Wake up slowly and stay relaxed. Hold on to the feelings you have and let your mind wander to the images of what you have just dreamt. Were you frustrated, terrified, or happy?
6. Write down as many details in your dream as you can, no matter how minute or seemingly unimportant it may be. Do not judge the content or worry if it makes sense. The idea is to get it down on paper so you can evaluate it later.
7. Sometimes it may help to draw pictures. Even if you are not an artist a simple drawing can help to jolt details of your dream.

i keep dreaming that i'm looking for my ex, although i'm not thinking about him when awake. in my dreams i'm desperate to find him but i never do.i should mention i haven't seen him or talked to him over a year now.

this is how my dream went...i was with a FRIEND and we were going to practice our instruments, so somehow he ended up coming to my house and having to stay. in the dream his mom even came to pick him up and he asked her for permission to sleep over. this is weird..because he's never actually been into my house, outside yeah, but not inside, plus his parents dont know me or where i live. later on i find i myself with him in my bed, next to eachother. and we're touching eachother, all i can clearly remember is touching his chest.there was no intercourse. i want to know what this dream means...

allright, i didn't know where to put this, but the most recent dream that i best remember goes like this:
i was with some person, and we ran into this psychic(i only remember some parts of this)
and the psychic was kinda like a mummy, his skin was completely burnt, and he had only skin on his bones.
he shows me a map, and says: you will not be happy living here, and you will be happiest once you move farther away from the sea. i live nowhere near the sea in real life, and i had just recently moved.
don't know what there is to explain...but is there some meaning to this and why i remember it?

some time ago I had a dream that I was walking through my school looking for the person i like. that i was looking through classes, and at one point he was on one side of the hall and i was at a distance on the other side..he was walking forward, and i was just rushing so that i didnt lose sight of him. i dont know what this means..i've had several dreams where he's came out and he i want to talk to him but im unable to..
i had a dream yesterday like enetering into a big building with tall pillars meeting someone. I had a handshake with him and received something as a award. Then i was walking back and next thing i remembered was that the building was filled with water.
This building was a closed one with space in the center and i was swimming with one hand in water in the center of the building and trying to come up. I came up atlast.
i saw few people standing in building above water level, but not sure about their reactions.
